Charli XCX has been revealed as the newest addition to the cast of the upcoming film, The Gallerist, which will be directed by Cathy Yan. Natalie Portman and Jenna Ortega were previously announced as the lead stars of the forthcoming project, which is currently in pre-production and is expected to begin shooting at the end of 2024. Charli joins Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Sterling K. Brown, Zach Galifianakis, Daniel Brühl, and Catherine Zeta-Jones in rounding out the cast of The Gallerist. This caps off the most successful year of Charli XCX’s career, as her recent release, Brat, is nominated for Album of the Year at the upcoming Grammys, and the pop superstar has also signed on to appear in the upcoming films 100 Nights of Hero, Erupcja, Faces of Death, I Want Your Sex, Mother Mary, and Sacrifice, as well as guest starring in the Amazon comedy series Overcompensating.
