The Roots Picnic 2025 is set to take place at the Mann in Fairmount Park in Philadelphia on May 31 and June 1. The two-day festival will feature a star-studded lineup highlighted by performances by D’Angelo, Lenny Kravitz, Meek Mill, GloRilla, and host The Roots celebrating the 30th anniversary of Do You Want More?!!!??! in front of their hometown fans. Additional acts set to take part include Miguel, Tems, Latto, Kaytranada, Jeezy, and Musiq Soulchild, with J. Period bringing Black Thought, 2 Chainz, and Pusha T together for a live mixtape. Presale for the event begins on Tuesday (February 18), with general sale starting on Friday (Feb. 21). The Philadelphia hip-hop crew will also host A Roots Picnic Experience: The Class of ’95 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles on June 8, featuring performances by 90s rap legends including Lil’ Kim, Redman & Method Man, Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, DJ Quik, Raekwon, E-40, Goodie Mob, and Havoc of Mobb Deep.
