Zach Bryan, Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, and Sabrina Carpenter were just announced as the leading finalists for the 2024 Billboard Music Awards. Bryan leads the 2024 BBMA finalists, with the country star up for 18 awards with 21 total entries. Swift, the most decorated female BBMAs artist of all time, is a finalist in 16 categories with 17 total entries. Wallen, who previously won the most BBMAs in 2023 (11), is recognized with 15 finalist entries in 13 categories. Carpenter has the next highest total with nine entries. All four of the leading nominees are competing in the night’s biggest award, the Top Artist category. Shaboozey will be performing from W Hollywood during the ceremony, with additional performers and special guests announced soon. The 2024 BBMAs will be hosted by actress and comedian Michelle Buteau, and is set to air on Thursday, December 12 at 8:00 pm ET on Fox and streaming on Paramount+. (Billboard)
