Jillian.”
The former “Biggest Loser” coach gave her life over to the reality cameras alongside her partner Heidi.
Michaels will be seen as a parent to five-year-old Lukensia (“Lu”) and three and a half-year-old Phoenix.
In the series, she will juggle parenting skills as well as balancing her growing media and business empire.
“I’m having a great time!” Michaels revealed to E! News of the reality series.
On the other hand, Michaels’ partner Heidi isn’t so comfortable in front of the cameras, preferring to stay behind-the-scenes and parent their two children while her love steals the show with her vibrant personality.
“I don’t really like being the center of attention at all, so even solo interview give me really bad anxiety,” she revealed.
Michaels also revealed that her children are taking rather well to reality-show stardom.
“They’re having fun! The kids are having a great time. They got very attached to the crew. They’re the stars actually,” laughed the fitness guru.
Michaels is thrilled to have the opportunity to show her family to the public. There are not many television shows that detail the day-to-day relationship and parenting issues a lesbian couple endures.
“I find that we have very typical issues that other couples have,” Michaels said to E!
“You got to dinner with a couple and you hear the same s**t that goes on in your own household, so I think it will be fun for people. It’s sort of like a big, gay Modern Family…It’s a lot of fun,” she quipped.
Michaels appeared for many years as a fitness coach on NBC’s “The Biggest Loser,” pushing contestants to be their personal best as they attempted to achieve their weight loss goals.
“Just Jillian” premieres Jan. 19 at 10 p.m. on E!
