There’s a new Japanese horror movie on the way that will merge the worlds of “Ringu” and “Ju-On”, which are known as “The Ring” and “The Grudge” in the U.S. remakes.
The new movie is called “Sadako Vs. Kayako”, and it’s sort of an “Alien Vs. Predator” thing where the ghosts from both franchises basically go head-to-head. The idea for it started as an April Fool’s Day joke, and then they actually made it for real.
The movie is coming out in Japan this summer. There’s no word on when it’s coming to the U.S., either in theaters or on Blu-ray. Maybe it’ll just get an American remake, like the original movie in both series did.
