NASA Posted Crazy High-Definition Footage of the Sun
NASA posted the highest-resolution video of the sun they’ve ever recorded earlier this week. And even though it’s 30 minutes long, it’s getting millions of hits on YouTube, which is pretty rare for a science video. That’s how cool it is.
It was recorded by NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory satellite, which films the sun 24 hours a day, in 10 different wavelengths of light.
And for the video, they assigned each wavelength a different color. So sometimes it’s red, sometimes it’s yellow, and sometimes
